The Power of Repetition

Repetition: Doing something over and over again, boring maybe, useful 100%.

Whether it’s drawing, writing, programming whatever skill you are trying to learn or master, the starting of a journey is not easy but at least it’s exciting. When we start something the pressure to be good in a day kicks in and we are disappointed when it doesn’t go that way, your first day is going to suck, well at least for me all my first days sucked, you are not going to get it in on sitting, probably get overwhelmed after a while, sometimes frustrated.

You have to ignore that part of you that wants the be Picasso when you literally just started learning to draw yesterday and focus on consistency and discipline, as they say, fortune favors the brave, it is about discipline, getting up and doing that thing at least thrice a week, not going to say every day, because really it can get boring. Well, it’s one of the things I struggle with consistency and discipline but one thing that has helped me is being confident in failing, it’s realizing my initial learning stage a lot of things are going to suck, I will make a lot of mistakes and I'm not going to understand everything at once. And really that's fine because I'm learning and through repetition, and practice one day I will look back at where I started and be like no way did I write this or draw this or caved this, and all because I was about to pass that initial hurdle.

In the end, time goes fast whether you quit or you forge ahead, so you might as well just continue, don’t try to make the first piece perfect rather improve on it as you go along, so this is one of my first writing that isn’t technical and as you can see it sucks and you know what I’m fine with that😊.

So until next time
KEEP WINNING!.
